Bat Removal Services

We offer comprehensive bat removal solutions to safely remove bats from your attic – and keep them out!

Bat Removal Services

Did you know that bats can fit into gaps as small as 3/4-inch? This is why our bat removal services start with a thorough inspection, so we can create a custom solution for your home. Our technicians are NWCOA Bat Standards Certified and our bat exclusion holds a 2-year warranty.

CUSTOM REPAIRS

We make a plan to safely evict bats from your attic while sealing all primary/secondary entry points to prevent bats from returning. We look at what your home needs to find a custom bat removal solution for you.

KNOWLEDGABLE TEAM

Bats are federally protected, so extra precautions must be taken to safely remove them. Our certified technicians use a reliable method that allows bats to exit the attic but won’t allow them back in.

GUANO CLEAN UPS

Established bat colonies can leave large guano deposits in the attic. This not only damages attic insulation, but it can also pose a health risk. Our team can offer clean-ups as a part of our full bat removal solution.

Bat Facts

A QUARTER OF ALL MAMMALS ARE BATS

There are more than 47 species in the US and 1,300 worldwide. Bats are also the only true mammals capable of sustained flight.

BATS CAN EAT OVER 1,000 INSECTS AN HOUR

Little brown bats eat more than half their body weight in mosquito-sized insects a night. Bats use echolocation, a high frequency call that bounces off objects in their environment, to capture their prey.

BATS ARE BIODIVERSITY MARKERS

This means that tracking their population size and behavior over time provides valuable information to the overall health of the local ecosystem.

More on bat removal

The most common bat species in Rhode Island are the Little Brown, Big Brown, Red, and Eastern Pipistrelle. These bats can roost in colonies ranging from a few dozen to more than 100,000 individuals.

‍

Little brown bats will choose caves, trees, rocks and wood piles as natural roost sites, but it’s common for them to roost in attics, barns, and other man-made structures.

‍

Bats can squeeze into gaps as small as 3/4-inch and sometimes colonies can go undetected for years. This is why bat removal and exclusion (repairs) is the only way to solve the problem. We recommend hiring a professional to properly bat-proof your home.

‍

Due to their protected status, there are certain windows of the year that we can evict bats. However, we can remove bats found in a living space at any time during the year.
